BeerSurveys.com claims to be a legit survey site you can make money with but the unfortunate truth about these types of market research companies is that many are scams.
Is BeerSurveys.com a scam?
In this review I'm going to explain who BeerSurveys is, what they do, and why they're unique. I'll also explain why I don't think they're a scam.

What Is BeerSurveys?
BeerSurveys is an online survey and get-paid-to (GPT) website that pays you for completing small tasks online and answering survey questions. It was founded in October 2018 by I.C. Daniel (also known as Mr. B from BeerMoneyForum.com which he also created).
Some online tasks you can expect to find when you join include simple games, watching videos as well as downloading and installing apps. Surveys and most tasks can be completed from your home computer but many partner apps will require a tablet or mobile device.
Surveys and tasks are not the only way you can earn money though. BeerSurveys will also pay you a 10% commission when you successfully refer a friend, a co-worker, family member and so on…
Is BeerSurveys a Scam?
You've heard it before and you've seen it before… make easy money online.
Sure you can…
I'm skeptical like you and I've been burned by online scams before; promising big bucks with little or no effort at all. You may have had your encounters with online scams too.
What's different about BeerSurveys.com’s though is that we know it's founder and owner I. C. Daniel is an actual person, which speaks volumes in this industry.
Of course, that doesn't guarantee it's not a scam but…
… fortunately he has a good reputation and his other site, Beer Money Forum, has been around since March 2016 and has over 100,000 members. It's not uncommon to find conversation threads with tens and even hundreds of thousands of messages.
There is something unique about BeerSurveys I haven't seen with other survey sites.
Typically, with most sites online surveys and get-paid-to sites, when there is an issue that needs resolving, you contact support. Who you get to help you though, is anyone's guess, and in many cases you never get a response.
BeerSurveys is different because you can find members having real back-and-forth conversations on the Beer Money Forum (BMF).
In one instance, for example, a BeerSurvey member had their account suspended for suspicious reasons and brought it to BMF's attention on the forum. It takes a little reading to sift through the conversations, but this particular issue was resolved within a day (the problem turned out be a public IP address).
Now, that doesn't mean you'll never have an issue with BeerSurveys. Login problems seem to be a topic of discussion, but it's nice to read member's responding positively as their issues are resolved.
So, is BeerSurveys a scam? No…
BeerSurveys is not a scam. It's a legit online survey site and you can earn money online by joining and doing small tasks and answering survey questions.
My biggest concerns are the same concerns I have with all legit survey sites. The pay is relatively low and survey and task opportunities are not always available.
If you're finding there are not enough surveys to keep you busy, and not enough tasks, you're not locked into using just one site. Survey sites like Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars also provide ways to make money doing surveys and online tasks.
They don't pay a lot of money but if you're just getting started, it's a good way to earn your first few dollars online.
As you gain more experience you may consider an online business.
You may be at home with children to look after or have health difficulties which make a regular job challenging.
If that’s the case and a full-time income online is what you want, knowing how and where to get started is what you need in order to get what you want.

How Does BeerSurveys Work?
You can earn money from BeerSurveys in several ways, which include:
- In-house offers – These can involve tasks that are related to BMF.
- Online surveys – BeerSurveys have partnered with several other sites market research companies.
- Tasks – They have a wide variety of tasks inside their platform, such as watching videos, downloading apps, re-writing reviews, etc.
How to Register
Before you can earn money, you must register.
Now, having read the forums, it seems most login issues have to do with members registering with IP address and then trying to access their account using another IP address.
So, it's best to register on the same network and with the same device you plan on using most often. It's not essential, but it will help you avoid issues down the road.
The reason they have a strict IP policy is to eliminate fraud.
Step 1
Determine if you qualify. BeerSurveys is open to registrants 13 years old or older, and not in the following countries:
- China
- Vietnam
- Afghanistan
- Albania
- Antartica
- Azerbaijan
- Cuba
- Kazakhstan
- Iran
- Iraq
- North Korea
- Nigeria
Some countries are banned because there is high rate of fraud and others because of conflicts with local governments.
Step 2:
Fill out the registration form (screenshot below).
You'll be asked for the usual information such as name, email and password…
There are some additional fields to fill out including gender, address and so on…
Online survey sites are market research companies and for market research to be relevant, opinions must be associated with a particular demographic.
Therefore, you may answer more questions than the usual platforms you're accustomed to signing up for.
Step 3:
Read their terms of service. There's a lot of important information in there, such as the most common reasons your account may get banned, such as using a proxy or VPN (which alter your IP address) to complete offers.
Step 4:
Register at Beer Money Forums. I'll touch on this again below, but you will need a Beer Money Forums account to get paid.
BeerSurveys Requirements
I mentioned some requirements above, such as age and country of residence. Some additional requirements you should know are:
- You must use real/valid information when registering to their site and completing offers.
- You’re only allowed to have 1 account (and only 1 account per household).
- You can ONLY log in to their site using your home internet connection. Accessing their site via free WiFi (e.g. coffee shops, libraries, buses, etc.) is not allowed.
- You must log in to your account every 30 days to prevent deactivation of your account and forfeiture of earnings.
How to Make Money on BeerSurveys
1. CPA/GPT
BeerSurveys have in-house tasks on their platform. These include tasks from BeerMoneyForum and BeerSurveys’ partners/advertisers.
You can expect survey opportunities under the CPA (cost per action) and GPT (get paid to) categories which include watching videos, downloading apps, playing games, following on social media etc.
At the time of this BeerSurveys review, they also have regular offers for re-writing reviews for BMF (to update the site’s content).
You can earn $1 per review of around 400 words and you can choose from the following topics:
- Cryptocurrency
- e-currency
- FOREX
- Affiliate programs
- Gambling sites
- Software
- Advertising
- Web hosting
2. Offer Walls
BeerSurveys have partnered up with other GPT sites, and you can find offers from these platforms within BeerSurveys.com. Here are some of their partner sites:
- Persona.ly
- SuperRewards
- KiwiWall
- Adgate
- OfferToro
- Adscend
3. Referral Program
You can invite people to join BeerSurveys by posting your referral link on your social media accounts.
You’ll earn 10% commissions (for life) from your referrals, so this could be a source of passive income.
Tips on How NOT to Get Banned on BeerSurveys.com
These are mentioned in their terms of service, which I suggested reading above, but they deserve repeating because if you get banned, you will give up your earnings.
It’s a common complaint among GPT sites that people get banned without an explanation.
BeerSurveys.com makes it very clear in their terms of service why people can get banned, which includes:
1. Violation of their terms.
2. Use of proxy/VPN in logging into their site.
3. Cheating to make more money on their platform.
4. Use of fake details/information on their site.
5. Spamming your referral link on the internet.
BeerSurveys Pay
I know I mentioned earning $1 per review (re-write) as one task in the BeerSurveys platform. However, other tasks pay by points.
To give you an idea, 1,000 points are equivalent to $1.
Their minimum threshold for withdrawal is $2 (according to recent administrator post on the Beer Money Forums), so you need 2,000 points to withdraw. If you’re re-writing reviews, you only need to write 2 to reach their $2 minimum threshold.
Withdrawing money from your BeerSurveys account is tricky. For this, you also need to open an account on BeerMoneyForum because your payment will be processed there.
So here’s how it works… You first need to convert your BeerSurveys points to dollars and then convert it to BMF tokens.
You can then withdraw your BMF tokens as gift cards or cash. They have Amazon gift cards. And for their cash payment options, you can choose from:
- PayPal
- Payeer
- Skrill
- PerfectMoney
- AdvCash
- Bitcoin
To withdraw your earnings, go to the Rewards tab on the BMF site and choose Redeem.
You will address your redemption to Mr. B (the owner’s account name on the site), enter the amount you’re withdrawing, and click on the Donate/Buy/Redeem button.
I agree, this is a bit of a roundabout way to get paid, but the benefit of being part of the forum is that if you have any problems getting paid, you address Mr. B directly in the forum.
Once you've followed the steps above, you will then buy your BMF tokens and get paid with cash or gift cards (whichever you choose). Just note that payment requests are processed once a month on the 25th.
Other Things to Keep in Mind
Do keep the following things in mind to avoid getting banned or giving up your earnings:
1. You can only complete offers in BeerSurveys once.
2. Always provide true/valid information (they’re very strict with this).
3. It says in their terms of service that they don’t assume responsibility for the content and offers provided by their advertisers.
4. They also say in their terms they may adjust their rates (for maintaining their site’s health) with no prior notice to their members.
5. Because of the nature of market research, higher consumption countries will usually provide more earning opportunities.

BeerSurveys Reviews and Complaints
Because BeerSurveys is relatively new, there are few user reviews. However, I found some engagement on their YouTube channel.
- According to one commenter, BeerSurveys is another good offer from Mr. B.
- Another person said their site looks clean and easy to use.
- Other people are also eager to join BeerSurveys.com.
Those who wrote the above comments are most likely already familiar with the BeerMoneyForum site.
Others (those who have never heard of BMF) also seem genuinely interested in joining BeerSurveys because of their YouTube instructional video.
What I like best about the conversations on their YouTube channel though, is that Mr. B (the owner and creator of BeerSurveys himself), is responding to their questions directly.
What I Like About BeerSurveys.com
- BeerSurveys is legit, and it comes with a lot of earning opportunities.
- They have a lot of payment options (including PayPal and Amazon gift cards).
- BeerMoneyForum is reputable, so their sister site BeerSurveys will hopefully follow in its footsteps.
- They have clear rules in their terms of service.
What I Don't Like
- I found BeerSurvey’s payment procedure to be a bit complicated since you can only withdraw your money through the BeerMoneyForum site.
- Like all survey sites, the pay is low. I'm not a huge fan of survey sites, but I'm not against them either. For the right person, they are the perfect first step to making money online.
Where Do You Go From Here?
I’m happy to report BeerSurveys is not a scam. It’s 100% legit, and it looks promising.
Of course, I you want to earn money from home and Mr B (I don't think I'll get used to calling someone Mr B, lol) can obviously relate because that's the premise behind his other site BMF.
He also says he’s accepting suggestions and comments about BeerSurveys.com, and you will find BeerSurveys topic thread on the Beer Money Forums which he replies to.
As I mentioned above, surveys are a great way to get started but they can't provide a full-time or even a part-time income, which is fine. Most who join know that going in.
You might be a student in school though, or a single parent at home. You may have health challenges that make regular work difficult, or maybe you just hate your job and you’re desperate for a way out.
If that's the case, an online business is what you want.
With all the scams and schemes out there though, knowing how and where to get started the right way is what you need in order to get what you want.
