What Is Dabbl App?

Founded in 2015, Dabbl is an app that's similar in function to online survey and get-paid-to (GPT) websites such as RapidWorkers, which offer rewards for doing small tasks online.

Dabbl App Review What Is

As a free app you download on your smartphone, Dabbl can be found on Google Play and the Apple App Store.

Once you become a registered user, the Dabbl App presents you with tasks that include answering surveys, playing games, watching videos (ads), and more.

They reward you with points which have a cash value you can exchange for gift cards from retailers like Amazon, Target, Disney, Walmart, Lowe’s, Best Buy, and more.

As a market research company, brands and consumers get together on the Dabbl App platform and benefit from each other. These brands need your feedback on their products and services as a consumer, and you earn money by providing that feedback.

It sounds simple enough and I'm going to explain, step-by-step, how they work. But first, let's talk about the Dabbl App being a scam…

Is Dabbl App a Scam?

When it comes to making money online, whether it's a website or an app, I'm a skeptic. Since you're reading this review, you probably are too.

In most cases, my first instinct is that it's a scam, but there are some good reasons to trust Dabbl.

The first is that the Dabbl App has been around quite a few years and is available on both Google Play and the Apple App Store, two marketplaces that have little tolerance for scams.

That doesn't mean scams can never make it onto an Apple or Android device, but it's not as common as what you typically find online.

Dabbl also has a decent following online.

Aside from their official site, Dabble App is on Facebook with thousands of followers. At the time of this review, they have a 4.6 out of 5 rating based on 31 opinions. That's a good sign they're legit.

While their presence isn't as impressive on Twitter, they do have a small following.

More importantly though, their engagement with their followers appears to be authentic.

And the same can be said for Instagram…

You will see in their posts they have a community of happy people who are earning money in their free time.

So, is Dabbl App a scam? No…

Dabbl is not a scam. It's a legit app you can download for free on both Android and IOS. They offer rewards for completing small tasks on your phone or tablet such as surveys and games, which you can then exchange for gift cards.

They are similar to survey sites like Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars who also provide ways to make money doing surveys and online tasks.

Like Dabbl though, online survey and get-paid-to sites don't pay very well. They are however a good way to earn some extra money if you've never made money online before.

If you're looking for something more significant, an online business may be what you're after.

You may be at home with children to look after or have health challenges that make working difficult.

If that’s the case, a little extra money won't cut it. A full-time income is what you want. Knowing how and where to get started safely though is what you need in order to get what you want.

Now, I'm going to give you a free step by step beginner's guide to making money online and you can get it by Clicking Here

How Does Dabbl App Work?

The Dabbl App says you can turn your downtime into gift cards, so let's talk about how you can do that.

Step 1 – Download the Dabbl App

Dabbl is supported by Apple and Android and, as mentioned above, can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store.

Step 2 – Register

After downloading the app, you can immediately register.

Dabbl is currently only available to US users—which is why they ask for your phone number (to validate your location, and to confirm you are who you say you are).

They also have a minimum age requirement. You must be at least 13 years-old to use the Dabbl App.

Step 3 – Follow the Welcome Screen and Mini-Tutorial

For the most part, using Dabbl is simple. However, it's important to follow their instructions, so you get paid when it comes time to cash out.

You will be welcomed and provided with a mini-tutorial. Dabbl will ask you to confirm your age and your phone number. They will then send you a 4-digit confirmation code and ask you to confirm your location.

Step 4 – Complete Tasks

So far, so good. Dabbl makes it quick and easy to join and get to the fun part… earning points.

Now that you're registered, you can start answering surveys, watching ads (PTC), playing games and so on… Points will be automatically credited to your Dabbl App account.

While points per task vary, you can typically earn between 10 to 20 points per task, but there are also 30 and 40 point tasks.

Now, 1,000 points are only equal to $1.00, so Dabbl is not going to make you rich online. And to their credit, they do NOT make that claim.

Once inside the app you will see your dashboard and you can upload a profile picture if you prefer. I'm not sure why you'd need to, but the option is there.

On the top right of your dashboard you can see a points counter, and when clicked brings you to your points total.

Below are your available tasks. Some are from Dabbl directly, and others are through partners, which also offer surveys and savings on products from health and beauty to clothing.

Step 5 (Optional) – Refer Friends

Dabbl pays $1.00 (1000 points) when you successfully refer a friend or family member. However, to avoid thousands of people spamming their referral links around the web, they limit your referrals to 20.

Step 5 – Cash Out

You can cash out once you reach 5,000 points ($5) by claiming gift cards from various retailers.

Gift cards come in denominations of $5 and $10, and your favorite retailer may not always be available. Gift cares are emailed, and require your first and last name.

Dabbl App Reviews and Complaints

Like most legit cash apps and similar websites, you're going to find a mix of reviews.

Here are some positive things people have said about the Dabbl App.

  • It’s easy to make money on the Dabbl App.
  • They have good customer service.
  • They really pay (sounds simple enough but getting paid is unfortunately, a common issue with apps like Dabbl).
  • The tasks on their platform are easy and fun.
  • Surveys are quick and interactive.
  • You get to learn about brands and new products.

Like most things in life though, there's both good and bad…

Below are some negative reviews and complaints…

  • Their points system seems to be going downhill. Some people complained they used to earn 10 points but are now only getting 5 points for the same tasks.
  • Another person suggests it’s a waste of time joining Dabbl because at times the system crashes and you get disqualified from surveys.
  • There are also complaints about accounts getting disabled for no apparent reason… which is a common complaint on most rewards sites.

At the end of the day, the reviews and complaints about Dabbl App are the same as what you'd find on competing apps and websites.

Two others I recommend, Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars generally get good reviews, but they also have their fair share of complaints.

For example, many online survey sites will suspend your account if you're using public WiFi. Not because they care that you're on public WiFi, but because they may associate the public IP address with fraudulent activity.

And of course, the pay for online surveys is quite low, which is also a common complaint. But as I mentioned earlier, if you've never made money online before, they can be a good first step.

As you gain more experience earning money online, you may consider an online business.

You may have medical issues keeping you at home, or young ones to look after. Or maybe you're just sick and tired of your job (who isn't).

If that’s the case and a full-time income online is what you want, knowing how and where to get started is what you need in order to get what you want.

What I Like About Dabbl App

  • It's legit.
  • You can earn some money (in the form of gift cards) during your free time.
  • A wide variety of gift cards from top brands/retailers.
  • A relatively low withdrawal threshold ($5.00)

What I Don't Like

  • No cash/Paypal option.
  • Low points payouts. It can take a significant number of surveys and tasks to accumulate 5000 points.
  • They limit the number of referrals you can have.

Where Do You Go From Here?

I know you want to make money online, and as mentioned earlier in this review… I'm with you (it's why I started my freelance writing career). 🙂

The challenge with apps like Dabbl though, are the low payouts.

That doesn't mean you shouldn't register, or that Dabbl isn't right for you. It just means you should go in with the right expectations.

If you've got a stack of bills on the table and debt payments weighing you down, catching up and getting ahead with surveys and get-paid-to apps, although helpful, is difficult.

You might be a student in school or a single parent at home. You may have health challenges that make regular work difficult. Or again… you may just hate your job and are desperate for a way out.

If that's the case, an online business is what you want.

With all the scams and schemes out there though, knowing how and where to get started the right way is what you need in order to get what you want

If a few extra bucks is all you're looking for though, in addition to Dabbl App, you can make money with sites like Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars.

They won't make you rich and you definitely can't retire on them, but if you've never made money online before, they can be a good first step.

I hope my Dabbl App review has been helpful and if you have any comments, questions, or experience with Dabbl App, please share in the comments section below.
