What Is Tap2Earn?
According to their website, Tap2Earn is the number 1 Influencer network in the world. Well, let me tell you right now that a lot of dangerous scams like KashTree, Paid4Clout, PaidLeaf and RainMoney also say that about themselves.
Also, while Tap2Earn boasts of their 10 years of existence, my investigation shows that they’re barely 1 month old as of this writing. Below, you will see that Tap2Earn’s domain was only activated on September 10, 2019.
Tap 2 Earn is supposed to be founded by Henry Chaplin and Davis O’Brien. However, its Parent company, Zindex, seems to be non-existent. It’s said on their website that this company has been around since 2005 (creating online money solutions). But according to Google, there’s no such thing as Zindex.
What do you think so far? Is Tap2Earn a scam?
There's definitely some deception going on, so it's not looking good. But maybe it just smells like a scam? Well, I have more red flags to show you in a minute…
Who Are Henry Chaplin and Davis O'Brien?
Henry Chaplin and Davis O’Brien are supposed to be the founders of Tap2Earn. However, I can’t seem to find any online presence from these two personalities (who have supposedly put up the prestigious #1 influencer network in the world).
According to Google, there’s a Henry Chaplin – a British politician born in the 1800s (yes, he’s dead now) – but I doubt he’s one of the founders of Tap2Earn.
And then there’s Charlie Chaplin, an English actor known for his silent movies – but he also died a long time ago (born in the 1800s, died in the 1900s) – but I’m sure he’s not responsible for Tap2Earn either. 🙂
As for Davis O’Brien – there's a couple of them in sports, but I doubt if either of them are the Davis O'Brien of Tap2Earn.
Here’s another red flag: Not only do Henry Chaplin and Davis O’Brien not have an online presence, they don’t even have their photos on Tap2Earn’s official website either.
Again… it's not exactly normal for the founders of a #1 influencer network to hide in the shadows.
If Tap2Earn is starting to sound a little shady, there are well-known and legit sites that will pay you for doing tasks. Survey sites like surveyjunkie.comand inboxdollars.com don't promise to pay big bucks like Tap2Earn, but you can be confident that they're the real deal.
Of, if you're looking something more serious an online business might be what you're after.
You may be at home for health reasons, or young ones to look after for example.
If that’s the case and and you'd like to earn a significant income online, knowing how and where to start is what you need in order to get what you want.
To learn how I did it, I'm going to give you a free step by step beginner's guide to making money online and you can get it by clicking HERE.
Is Tap2Earn a Scam?
According to my initial investigation, Tap2Earn could be a scam. It looked like other scams I've run into before, like the recent rewards site WiredBucks or Cash and Go. But I wanted to be sure, so I dug even deeper.
Well, I found out that the two lovely ladies on the Customer Support team (their Affiliate Managers) are both t-shirt models. I’m not really sure if they’re actively working as models as they only seem to have one type of picture (but with different t-shirts on).
Notice their posing and background. It’s all the same.
I also checked out Tap2Earn’s Instagram and Twitter accounts. Don’t be surprised if they have a lot of followers – they’re offering $25 signup fee and $10 referral fee, how can people resist not following them?
What seems to be off here is that they only have 31 Instagram posts and 32 Tweets.
On it's own, you wouldn't think much of it. But we're talking about the #1 Influencer here. I don't think so…
So in my opinion, yes… Tap2Earn is a scam. There are far too many red flags to ignore.
How Does Tap2Earn Work?
Here are the steps to using Tap 2 Earn:
1. Join by signing up. You’ll be credited $25 for this.
2. Share your unique Tap2Earn link in your social media accounts and earn $10 for every person that joins through your link.
3. Withdraw your cash earnings from your Tap 2 Earn dashboard (PayPal, Bitcoin, check, etc.).
How You Can Make Money With Tap 2 Earn
1. As the #1 influencer network in the world, Tap2Earn has partnerships with world-class companies (or so they say). You, as their affiliate, can promote these companies to your followers (and of course earn money, because you’re an influencer).
2. Simply joining the company will earn you $25.
3. The referral fee per invite is $10. So, if 10 of your friends join through your link, that’s $100. And if you have more than 10 friends, that’s a lot of money!
But wait, where is Tap2Earn getting all of this money to pay their members? According to their site, they've paid out $68 Million dollars.
That's a lot of money!
And yet, you're not buying anything from them. Your referrals are not buying anything from them. And their referrals are not buying anything from them either.
They claim the money comes from ad-spend revenue and sponsorship products.
Let's ignore the fact that there is NO WAY a few products appearing on your “task wall” will add up to ten's of millions of dollars in ad revenue, and look at how a few other scams claim to work.
I mentioned another #1 influencer network called Kashtree earlier. They make the exact same claim.
But it's not just the same claim, if you read the entire paragraph, it's word for word the same text.
And they're not the only ones.
RainMoney, EmotePay, and Paid4Clout are all using the same copy and paste text.
The more I dug into these guys, the clearer it became they were all part of the same copycat scheme. Another recent version of this scam is called Cash4Clickz.
So what's really going on here?
A Network of Lies
When I looked into these other copycat scams, one thing became apparent. People are not getting paid.
Here are what some angry people are saying about Tap2Earn's sister scheme (Paid4Clout)…
It turns out this is a pattern.
One or more of these sites pops up, people share their referral links on social media, YouTube etc, it looks like they're being paid because money is showing up in their Tap2Earn (or Paid4Clout, etc.) back office account.
But when payday arrives… no one gets paid.
The scam dies off and a new one with a different name takes it place.
So, if you've been spending time sharing your referral link and earning money, it's highly unlikely you'll ever see it.
If the lies and deceit are too much and if you don't trust Tap2Earn (I don't), you may prefer to join legit sites that are well-known and have actually been around a long time.
Market research companies like Survey Junkie are a simple way to get paid for your opinion. Inbox Dollars is another site that pays for doing things you may be doing online anyway, like searching the web, watching videos and visiting websites.
They don't pay the ridiculous amounts Tap2Earn are promising to pay… but they actually do pay.
If you're looking for something bigger like a full-time income, an online business may be what you're after.
Making money from home might be something you need because of medical issues, children to look after, or maybe you're just tired of working for a boss.
If that’s the case, knowing how (and where) to get started is what you need in order to get what you want.
Now, I'm going to give you a free step by step beginner's guide to making money online and you can get it by Clicking Here
Tap2Earn Reviews and Complaints
Like I said, Tap2Earn only came online on September 10, 2019. At the time of this writing, it’s less than a month old and yet it already has A LOT of testimonials and positive reviews.
But are they real?
I can’t find any negative reviews yet because logically, people (or not a lot of people) are not aware that they are being scammed yet. They see the money accumulating in their Tap2Earn account, but they haven't tried to cash out yet.
See below for some more red flags (with more proof as well).
1. The Jamie (no surname) on their main page testimonial is also the Ricky in a conversation with Paid4Clout (the other #1 marketing influencer in the world).
2. I found a lot of scripted comments in YouTube videos and Tap2Earn’s own Instagram account. These can’t all be coincidences as they have the same format, sentence structures, punctuation marks, and emoticons! And these are from different people! Here are some examples:
- I bought my first car todayyyyy
- Amazing site, need more managers tho These guys are legit
- Imagine getting paid for being on your phone already
- College payments going down
3. The MANY proofs of payments on their site are unverifiable. And one stood out while I was looking over them. This one (below) has a payment date of June 29, 2019. Remember, Tap2Earn was only established on September 10, 2019.
What I Like About Tap2Earn
Nothing.
What’s to like about something that’s full of lies and deceit?
There’s nothing to like about Tap2Earn… Well, that's not entirely true. I’m quite impressed by the trouble they went through to make their site (and business) look legit, but it’s not a good thing to like.
What I Don't Like
- I don’t like that Tap2Earn is luring people into something that they won’t make money with (and probably lose some if they give up their credit card information as some of the tasks on the task wall request).
- I don’t like that they’re encouraging people to refer other people (friends, relatives) to something that will cause them pain (broken friendships due to bad referrals).
- I don’t like that they’re teaching people to lie (testimonials, scripts) in exchange for money or the possibility to make money.
- I don’t like that Tap2Earn has so many false information on their website (e.g. their Parent company, their domain age, their founders, etc.).
- I don’t like that they’re using images of fake people (these people may not even know that their photos are being used this way).
Where Do You Go From Here?
You’ve seen all the red flags above (almost in the entirety of this review). I hope you’re with me in calling the whole thing a scam.
I know Tap2Earn seemed too good to be true – and they really are (too good to be true).
The group of people behind such scams as KashTree, Paid4Clout, RainMoney (and a lot more) seem to never run out of tricks to create new scams again and again.
And I understand why people fall for these make money online opportunities thinking that they’re legit. Of course, they make them seem legit. Besides, they have a lot of practice ripping people off.
They know how to make bold claims and offers that are irresistible.
They know how to create fake personalities via testimonials, reviews, and even videos.
And they are experts in manipulating people into saying what they want them to say (using their own social media accounts).
I beg you, please stay away from Tap2Earn and other similar schemes. You’re bound to stumble onto something like this again, so always be alert and do your research, which you have by reading this review. 🙂
The good news is, you can make money online.
You might be a student in school or a single parent at home. You may have medical difficulties making regular work difficult, or maybe you're just tired of working for someone else.
If that's the case, an online business is what you want.
With all the scams and schemes out there though, knowing how and where to get started the right way is what you need in order to get what you want.
Now, I'm going to give you a free step by step beginner's guide to making money online and you can get it by Clicking Here
If you're just looking for a simple way to make some extra spending money, online survey and get-paid-to sites are good way to get started.
Sites like Survey Junkie will pay you for your opinion, and Inbox Dollars offers rewards for doing things like watching videos, visiting websites and searching the web.
Of course, you won't retire a millionaire from doing surveys, but if you've never made money online before, they're a good first step and may lead to something bigger down the road.
I hope my Tap2Earn review has been helpful and if you have any comments, questions, or experience with Tap2Earn, please share in the comments section below.

I also write about Influencers earn in my blog. I don’t think Tap2Earn is legit. Can we report the website or do something?
Didn’t ask me any personal info and I already cashed out and i didn’t have to pay anything at all I believe it is legit but I guess I’ll find out february 2nd when I’m supposed to get the money
Did you get the money?
I dont understand how the Better Business Bureau or anyone with the power to stop this phony Tap2earn to continue. I am really ticked off.
Yes this is a scam we’ve contacted a local news station channel 9about this very scam
Pure scamm don’t even think about it , if you do , you are wasting your time
Hi, thank you again for this wonderful presentation on Tap2Earn, really too good to be true, when I think that I shared the link to my friends and acquaintances, what an image, in short big thank you to you for this huge job of surveys.
tap2 is a fake application does not pay you, just lie, do not waste your time is a lie all
Found your review when looking up this company and I gotta say you did a GREAT job exposing the truth! My own red flag when browsing their site was that the calculator told me I’d make 5 bucks a day just by having ONE follower! That told me it was BS right from the start. This is just another team of scammers creating a new site from the dead ashes of the old ones left behind once they are exposed. Unfortunately, this happens often, so it’s important to read reviews like yours before joining anything. Kudos to you!!
How do we report them cause I seriously thought it was legit and got my hopes up
This Tap 2 earn is nothing but a scam !!! My wife got screwed by it as well……freakin people need to be stopped ! Real talk
How do you get screwed by them. Scams usually take ppl’s money. This one seems to just waste your time.
Hi Nichole, you are correct, they do waste your time. However, they also harvest your data and whatever information you provide them can be sold and/or used for identity theft. For example, some tasks ask for your credit card number, address, telephone number etc. Also, a certain percentage of people use the same email/password combination for multiple accounts and they can use software to run these combinations with banks, PayPal, Amazon etc. to see if they can gain access.
Has anyone got money from tap2earn real or fake
It’s fake????
Tap 2 Earn was Soo good to be true. Immediately my friend sent me the link, I discovered it’s scam link even from the fishy domain name and no Branding ideas.
Thanks for the complete review
Big thanks bro
Thanks for this review, its really helpful.
In addition, from experience if you forgot your password and try to reset it it will not get you anywhere after entering your email address. This might as well be a red flag.
Ohhh what is this a scam??
Big fucking scam
Fiquei de receber dia 5 de Novembro, e até hoje nada, não consigo acessar mais minha conta, isso é Sacanagem.
Cadê meu dinheiro????
You analysis was very helpful I believe it could be a scam
How do I sue them
If you read these terms lol it says you have to be 99 years of age or older to use tap2earn
I noticed that as well last night. It says if you are under 99 years old, you cannot participate or redeem any money or rewards. The thing that pisses me off the most is how they don’t allow your review to get posted. They modify it or delete it so there’s no negative reviews. I assumed something was fishy when there wasn’t an app on the play store.
Nice write up, tap2earn is nothing but a scam to me, I made a video and wrote an article exposing them too.
Thanks for this article.
Thanks for this, now I got to figure out how to delete account. I don’t want this even though I made a lot of fake money. ha
Hello, please tell me how you deleted your account. I don’t want to contact them because then they’ll know my real email and I don’t want that. Please tell me how to delete my account. Please, please, please
You can’t delete your account , you can only log out of it , so if you made one already , there’s likely nothing you can do with it
Did you find out a way to delete your account
Hello have been trying to login on my phone and is not going and is one the 4th Of nov is my pay hope this not a scam let someone prove too me that he or she get paid for me too know that is for really cos have invite a lot of people about this site
Did you end up getting paid?
I was thinking Tap 2 Earn was going to be a little too good to be true – can you please explain to me, what and how do the creators of these sites benefit from these scams?
thank you ????
Hi Leah, there are few things the creators of these scams get. The first is that they get paid to generate traffic to all of the offers you see on your task wall. These are CPA offers, which stands for cost-per-action and they get paid a small amount when someone clicks on them and provides an email. In and of itself, there’s nothing inherently wrong with CPA offers. Even major companies and professionals like doctors, dentists and lawyers can use legit CPA offers to generate leads for their businesses. It’s the deception here that’s cruel, promising people they are going to get paid for generating traffic for these people.
Another way they can benefit, and this is a lot more dangerous, is that many of the “tasks” require you to enter your email and create a password. However, a small percentage of people use the same email and password combination for many things and they can compile a database and use software to test these email/password combinations on many sites (like Amazon for example) to see how many accounts they can access. Even a small percentage can add up to a lot.
The site says access denied
