What Is Yuno Surveys?

Yuno Surveys is a rewards site that pays you for sharing your opinion and answering online survey questions. Rewards include points, money, and gift cards.

Registered on February 6, 2019 (screenshot below), Yuno Surveys is a relatively new site.

That makes it a little challenging as far as how trustworthy they are. That doesn't mean they're not, it's just that they're not as established as some other well-known survey sites like Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars.

Like other legit sites though, Yuno Surveys's doesn't make outrageous income claims, which is good. The reality is, survey sites don't pay a lot, but they can be a good way to get started if you've never made money online before.

If a full-time income online is what you're looking for, an online business may be what you want.

You may be at home with young ones or having challenges with your health. Or maybe you're just sick of the daily grind.

If that’s the case and a full-time income online is what you want, knowing how and where to get started is what you need in order to get what you want.

Is Yuno Surveys a Scam?

So… As I mentioned above, Yuno Surveys is a young site. Unlike more established sites which have been around for years, the limited history of Yuno Surveys doesn't give us a lot to go on.

With a site that's been around for many years, even decades, it's easier to make a recommendation.

With Yuno Surveys though, we must dig a little deeper.

They don’t currently have a Better Business Bureau profile, and therefore there no complaints within an official response – resolution platform.

They do have their Facebook page set up though, which was created on May 17, 2019. At the time of this Yuno Surveys review, they have 221 followers and some engagement in their community.

(Update: they're following has grown nearly 400, however their most recent post on FB is a year old)

Having sifted through the many Yuno Survey reviews though, it seems they struggle with the same thing most surveys struggle with. Disqualified participants.

Market research is tricky. For it to be accurate market researchers need to survey the right audience, so many of the questions are qualifying questions.

For example, how do you know a person who's completing a survey about kids' toys is even a parent? And if they're not a parent, is their opinion valuable or accurate?

Survey creators put what often seem like strange questions in their surveys, but the intent is to confirm that the person taking the survey has experience with the topic.

The other problem with online surveys is that people want to make as much money as possible, so they complete them as fast as possible. Some cheat by checking of random boxes while they're watching TV or doing something else.

Therefore, survey creators will put redundant questions in there that are similar, but slightly different from previous questions. If the answers don't correspond with each other, they will disqualify you.

Their intent is good, but the system has flaws. As a result, many honest surveys takers get disqualified, in which case they either get kicked out of the survey without getting paid, or they may even get their account suspended.

And if you're honestly answering survey questions and consistently get booted without being paid, you're going to think it's a scam. Who can argue with that?

Some companies like Swagbucks for example handle this better than others, unfortunately from some reviews, it's doesn't sound like Yuno Surveys is one of the better ones.

This is a problem, but I wasn't able to find any evidence that would suggest Yuno Surveys is a scam, so…

Yuno Surveys is not a scam. They are a legit online survey site that pays members for sharing their opinion about products and topics. However, they don't have a great rating among survey takers.

I don't personally have any issue with Yuno Surveys and being a new company, it's possible they're still smoothing out their edges.

As a recommendation though, as I mentioned earlier, it may be better to stick with the more established survey sites like Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars.

I'll also say again, survey sites don't tend to pay very much, but for the right person under the right circumstances, they can be a good way to get started online.

For a full-time income online though, an online business is what you want.

You may be struggling in a tough economy or need to work from home because of health issues.

If that’s the case and a full-time income online is what you want, knowing how and where to get started is what you need in order to get what you want.

How Does Yuno Surveys Work?

Yuno Surveys accepts members from all countries. However, you must be at least 16 years old to join their site. Below are the steps needed to use Yuno Surveys.

1. Register on the Yuno Surveys' Site

First, you must create an account on the Yuno Surveys site.

Registration is free, and it's simple. There is no reason you shouldn't get accepted once you join their site.

You only need to enter an email address and possibly complete a Captcha (I had to click on images of buses, lol)

Once inside, you'll see a member's area like this…

2. Answer surveys

Once inside, you’ll see the survey categories on your Dashboard.

You can choose from:

  • Nice and Easy (10 mins and 20 points)
  • Golden Middle Surveys (15 mins and 50 points)
  • Maximum Reward Surveys (30 mins and 80 points)

Keep in mind, your answers must be honest and consistent. Questions are worded to disqualify people who are either cheating (by clicking as fast as they can), or pretending to be someone they are not.

You will be asked to check a box that that says:

I understand that if I rush or answer dishonestly I will be excluded from surveys.

That also means you won’t qualify for all surveys because they have screening questions to test your qualifications (based on your demographics).

3. Accumulate points

The number of points you get per survey will depend on the difficulty of the survey. Typically, though, points per survey range from 20 to 80 with some reporting points for surveys as high as 120.

The minimum payout threshold depends on your country, but generally ranges around 900 to 1,000 points which works out to $5 – $10 worth of rewards.

It doesn’t take much time to reach 900 to 1,000 points if you qualify for a lot of surveys (especially those that come with 100+ points). But that's the key statement… if you qualify.

You may also get bonus points, for example… when you complete four surveys in one day. But bonuses can change, so I wouldn't count on them.

4. Get rewards

Once you reach your minimum threshold for payout, you can send them a request.

However, keep in mind your request is still subject to approval. And when they approve your request, a third party will process your reward/s.

Again, Yuno Surveys' rewards are different depending on your country, but a few of the common gift cards I found during my research are:

  • Amazon
  • Visa
  • Mastercard

At the time of this Yuno Surveys review, they don’t have an option for PayPal. They also say they can change rewards without prior notice.

Yuno Surveys Reviews and Complaints

As I mentioned earlier, Yuno Surveys doesn't rank very well among survey takers.

They currently have a 2.7 out of 5 rating on Facebook. This rating is only based on the opinions of 7 people though. Having said that, at the moment the most current comments are the most critical.

It wasn't all bad though.

I found some positive feedback, such as…

  • Yuno Surveys surveys are easy, and…
  • They are fair.
Yuno Surveys Review Facebook Positive Reviews

Still, you can expect more negative reviews with their 2.7 rating, and here are some…

  • One user said it takes time to answer surveys, and then you can get disqualified. She therefore suspects spying.
  • Another complainant said they suspended her account for supposedly suspicious activities.
  • There was also a reviewer who said they don’t pay out.
  • Another person said he requested redemption of reward but got no reply.
Yuno Surveys Review Facebook Negative Reviews

It's important when reading user reviews to consider that most reviews are written because there is a problem.

People are motivated to review and comment when they have a complaint. Those who are happy are less likely to leave a review.

As far as getting disqualified from surveys, I mentioned this above. You can expect this from all survey sites because qualifying questions don't always have their intended effect.

Regarding not getting their requested rewards when they have already met the minimum threshold, Yuno Surveys does say rewards are subject to their approval.

In my opinion, that's not cool. We all understand rules and regulations can change at any time, but to deny rewards AFTER they've been earned is something entirely different.

Again, just my opinion.

What I Like About Yuno Surveys

  • The Yuno Surveys site looks legit because and many claim to have received their rewards/gift cards.
  • You can earn extra money (or its equivalent) during your free time through rewards.

What I Don't Like

  • Complaints from people who have had their accounts closed without explanation.
  • Complaints of getting no replies from their customer support.
  • Their Facebook page has several negative reviews from users.
  • Surveys are not a substantial source of income. They provide some earning which is good, but they can't replace a full-time, or even a part-time, job.

Where Do You Go From Here?

Yuno Surveys is a legit site, which is an argument to try them. Having read what other survey takes have said, I can't say I'm confident enough to recommend them, but you can always check them out.

Your experience may be a good one.

I know what it's like to struggle financially though and while surveys are great if you're looking for a few extra “end-of-the-month” bucks, or saving over the year to help with Christmas or a birthday… they're not the best solution for real money issues.

You might be a student in school, a single parent at home, or you may be dealing medical issues that make working a regular job challenging.

In that case, an online business is what you want.

With all the scams and schemes out there though, knowing how and where to get started the right way is what you need in order to get what you want

If you’re just looking for a simple way to make some extra spending money though, in addition to Yuna Surveys, the online survey and get-paid-to sites I recommend are Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars

  1. Okay here is my opinion on yuno surveys. Well I don't know about the people getting paid for taking surveys but whenever I take any survey, like being genuine with the surveys or being fake at the end it always display a pop up saying (Sorry, this survey wasn't a good match). And that's how I joined it and quit it on the same day. Okay, I tried to login after somedays again spend my time on it again but result (Sorry, this survey wasn't a good match). So, finally decided that if Yuno is paying them who write only good reviews abouy them then, Goodluck.
