What Is Scarlet Clicks

Scarlet Clicks is a paid-to-click (PTC) site. It pays its members to click and watch ads, do PTC related games and offers, and refer new members to sign up. It has more than 1 million members and has paid out millions of dollars since 2009.

Who Owns Scarlet Clicks?

Scarlet Clicks is owned by Dimitrios Kornelatos, who also owns similar PTC sites GPTPlanet, and Optimalbux.

Where is Scarlet Clicks Located?

ScarletClicks does not say where they are located, so the best we can do is look at some clues. Its owner Dimitrios Kornelatos is possibly Greek (Kornelatos is rooted in Greek). However, the majority of traffic going to scarlet-clicks.info is from Russia.

That doesn't mean ScarletClicks is located in Greece or Russia, but it could suggest it's based in Eastern Europe or Southeastern Europe.

Is Scarlet Clicks Legit?

Scarlet Clicks appears to be legit, and they do pay their members. It has been around since 2009 (scarlet-clicks.info was actually registered in 2008), and its owner has created other successful PTC sites.

Having said that, it's not easy to make decent money with Scarlet Clicks. I'll go over the math in a moment, but you'll have to spend a lot of time (many hours) just to reach the minimum payout, which is only two dollars.

One way you can maximize your earnings is to also join similar types of sites. If there are no ads to view, for example, or you're looking for higher payouts… sites like Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars can supplement your PTC earnings.

If you're looking for something with bigger income potential, an online business may be what you're looking for.

Making money from home might be something you need because you have young children to look after or health challenges you're dealing with.

If that’s the case, knowing how (and where) to get started is what you need in order to get what you want.

Now, I'm going to give you a free step by step beginner's guide to making money online and you can get it by Clicking Here

With that said, it's understandable that you may be skeptical because a good number of Scarlet Clicks reviews call it fraudulent and a scam.

Reasons include suspended accounts without warning and not getting paid.

I can't verify the accuracy of those complaints, nor can I defend ScarletClicks. However, these are common complaints when it comes to PTC and reward-type sites. Even the most popular sites get these complaints because the scam goes both ways.

Some are scams, that's true. But some users also scam legitimate sites (with things like fake traffic and other automated activities intended to look real).

The detection methods are not foolproof, and as a result, some members get their accounts undeservedly suspended. And of course, when this happens, the company or site gets accused of being a scam. Sometimes the site is actually a scam, and sometimes it's not.

In the case of ScarletClicks, it's not.

According to various sources, the estimated traffic to scarlet-clicks.info is millions per month. Third-party estimates are rarely accurate, but they are good enough to get us in the ballpark. SimilarWeb estimates between 1.2 and 2.2 million based on Nov, Dec, and Jan traffic.

Source: SimilarWeb

With that amount of traffic and being around since 2009, you would expect far more scam accusations than there already are if it were, in fact, a scam. That doesn't mean ScarletClicks is good or that “every member” is rightfully paid. It does mean that at least some members (the majority) are getting paid.

How Does Scarlet Clicks Work?

How Does ScarletClicks Work?

ScarletClicks runs on the EvolutionScript software, which means you may find it familiar if you've used similar sites like Clixten and BuxVertise (which run on the same software).

In my opinion, the interface seems dated, similar to sites like RapidWorkers. And with pop ads you can't close at times, blocking the screen, it's a little frustrating. Particularly on mobile.

With that said, it's usable and what's more important is how you make money on ScarletClicks.

Making Money With ScarletClicks

There are several ways to make money on ScarletClicks, which include:

  • Clicking and Watching Ads
  • Paid to Signup Offers (PTSU)
  • Referrals
  • Advertise (Pay For Traffic to Your Own Site)
  • Traffic Exchange
  • ScarletGrid
  • Bonuses

However, before you can do any of those, you must register your account.

Registration

Click the Register button in the top right corner from the Scarlet Clicks website. You'll be taken to the registration page, which asks for some information, including your:

  • Full Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Email Address
  • Preferred Payment Account

You will also be asked to create a username and password. When signing up for PTC sites, rewards sites, etc. (or any site for that matter), never use the same email, password, and username combination.

I'm not saying Scarlet Clicks will use your credentials to try and access other accounts (Amazon, for example), but with any site, software, system, etc., you should never use the same password twice. It's a common scheme among scammers to use fake reward sites to data-mine login credentials.

Click and Watch Ads

Like all PTC websites, your primary way of earning money is getting paid to click, obviously.

When it comes to making money online, PTC is among the easiest. Anybody can do it. It's the same as watching ads on a mobile game to earn more coins, additional levels, game items, etc.

And because anyone can do it (meaning it does not require any particular skill), it's also one of the worst ways to make money because clicking and watching ads does not pay very well.

Scarlet Clicks pays on average $0.001 per click. Some pay less, and some pay as much as $0.002. But we're talking about one to two-tenths of a cent. So regardless of what each ad pays, it's not much.

To put that in perspective, you would need to click and watch 1000 ads (that pay $0.001) to earn a single dollar. If you account for just 15 seconds of watch time per ad, that's 250 minutes of clicking and watching (or 4 hours and 10 minutes).

Another way to say that is $0.24 per hour.

Now, it's money, and if you don't mind clicking and watching ads, Scarlet Clicks might be what you're looking for.

You'll see the View Ads button in the top menu of the homepage. When you log in, that button will take you to a wall of ads that open up in a new screen when clicked. Watch each one for 10 – 20 seconds each (times may vary) and accumulate your earnings in your account.

The *Earn More* Button

Beside the View Ads button in the top menu, you'll find the Earn More button. In addition to the ScarletGrid (which I'll explain in a moment) and the PTC leaderboard, you have options for similar PTC sites.

These currently include:

  • Offers4All (earn money clicking on ads and doing tasks on their offerwall)
  • MediumPath (if you're a site owner, you can add MediumPath's Web Offerwall API)
  • SkippyAds (offers PTC ads, offers, and tasks)
  • Wannads (for developers to monetize their apps with offerwalls, surveys, etc.)
  • CPX-Research (monetize your app or website with surveys)

Paid to Signup Offers (PTSU)

Under the main menu, you'll see a button that says PTSU, which stands for Paid To Sign Up. These offers pay you to perform tasks and sign up to other PTC and Rewards sites using Scarlet Clicks' link. For example, clicking on a specified number of ads within a specific timeframe (over 7 days in some cases).

These PTSU offers pay more than clicking ads, as much as $0.05 to $0.50. It's still not a lot, but better than tenths of a cent.

Be sure to read all the terms and conditions before signing up, as many require you to be active on other platforms to get your reward. And like Scarlet Clicks, the rewards are small.

As mentioned earlier, you can also make money from home with online surveys such as Survey Junkie and Inbox Dollars.

You may also be looking for something like an online business if a full-time income is what you're looking for.

You may be at home because of difficulties with your health or young ones to look after. Or maybe you're just tired of your job.

If that’s the case and a full-time income online is what you want, knowing how and where to get started is what you need in order to get what you want.

Now, I'm going to give you a free step by step beginner's guide to making money online and you can get it by Clicking Here

Referrals

Another way to earn money is by referring others. Depending on your membership level, you can make between 40 to 100 percent of what they earn in commissions.

Yes, there are membership levels which I'll get to in a moment.

Free members earn 40 percent, and paying members can earn 100%.

Earning commissions from other people's efforts sounds great, and it can be. But it's not nearly as easy as it sounds.

For example, let's say you convince a friend to join and watch ads. Remember, they must watch 1000 ads (roughly 4 hours worth) to earn $1.00.

As a free member in this instance, you would only earn a commission of 40 cents.

How many friends can you convince to sign up and watch 4 hours' worth of ads?

Even as a paid member, you'll only earn $1.00 for all of their efforts. And that's not all…

You must also click on ads and remain active to earn from your referrals (four ads per day).

It's better than nothing, but don't underestimate the difficulty of getting others to sign up. And even if you have many friends, only a small percentage are likely to join.

That answer is to build an online following or another source of traffic (search engine traffic, for example) so you can recommend Scarlet Clicks to hundreds or even thousands of people.

Putting aside the challenge of generating online traffic, the issue here is whether Scarlet Clicks is what you want to recommend.

For example, other rewards sites like Survey Junkie also pay you for referrals. And depending on where your traffic is coming from, you'll get a dollar or more just for the signup… forget about having to watch 4 hours' worth of ads.

That doesn't mean Scarlet Clicks doesn't work. It just might be that it's not the best use of your time.

Buying or Renting Referrals

What you don't often see with rewards sites, but many PTC sites offer, is the ability to buy or rent referrals. What does that mean?

As I mentioned, it's a lot harder to get referrals than it sounds, so Scarlet Clicks will sell them to you.

You can buy 5 referrals for $5.00, and if each one clicks and watches several hours of ads, you might make a profit. That would be a perfect scenario.

What's more likely is that one or two will do nothing. Another might spend an hour or two before logging out and forgetting they ever signed up for Scarlet Clicks in the first place.

If you're lucky, one or two might take it seriously.

I'm not saying you can't make money this way, but it's a gamble. And at the end of the day, you're rolling the dice for fractions of a penny.

If you can send tens of thousands of people to Scarlet Clicks' website, you may get a few dozen (or even a hundred or more) to join. It sounds like a lot, but your earnings will not be significant with the low payout rates.

Below is a screenshot of Scarlet Clicks' leaderboard. The top affiliate (charbel) sent over 112,000 people to Scarlet Clicks, which resulted in 120 sign-ups and $45.04 in revenue.

Scarlet Clicks Leaderboard
Source: Scarlet Clicks

There's nothing wrong with forty-five bucks, but the amount of time and effort it takes to generate 112,612 visits is tremendous. It likely required several hundred thousand (or even a million-plus) views/impressions.

Again, you can do it, but the question is whether you want to. Is it worth it when there are better-paying options?

Advertise

On Scarlet Clicks, you can buy advertisements (clicks). So, if you already have a website (or you're planning on starting one), you can use this feature to build an audience. From there, you can monetize.

Of course, you don't need a website.

You might have a product or service you're recommending, and you can also use Scarlet Clicks to drive traffic to your ad or sales funnel.

Now, it's cheap to advertise on Scarlet Clicks (screenshot below), but the quality of traffic is not great. The clicks you're paying for are not from people interested in your product, service, or website. They are from people trying to earn fractions of a penny by clicking on your ad.

ScarletClicks Members and Advertisers
Advertising prices start from $1.50 for 1000 clicks

That doesn't mean you can't convert Scarlet Clicks traffic into sales or leads; it's just that your conversion rates are likely to be very low.

Traffic Exchange

Like advertising, Scarlet Clicks' traffic exchange is only valuable if you have a website or offer you're driving traffic to.

It works by accumulating credits when you visit other people's sites or offers and then spending those credits on visits to your site(s) or offer(s).

Also, like advertising on Scarlet Clicks, this is not high-value traffic.

For example, when you visit other people's sites and offers, you're not doing it because you're interested. You're doing it for credits.

Likewise, others are only visiting your offers to gain credits. Not because they are interested.

With that said, depending on how you value your time, it doesn't cost you anything to participate in the traffic exchange.

ScarletGrid

The ScarletGrid is a lottery of sorts.

As a member, you'll have access to an image with an overlayed grid. I'm not sure what the purpose of the image is, but the grid consists of 560 squares (20 x 28).

You play by clicking a square and watching an ad. If you land on the winning square, you earn $1.00. The catch is you only have 20 tries per day, and if you're doing the math, that's a 1 in 28 chance to earn a dollar.

Bonuses

During the year, Scarlet Clicks offers various bonuses. These include temporary commission rate bumps and special packages when you buy advertising and credits.

Scarlet Clicks Memberships

As mentioned earlier, there are different membership levels, and your level will, in part, determine how much you can earn.

You start out as a free (or standard) member when you join. The payouts and opportunities described above apply to the standard membership.

Upgrading will give you additional opportunities to earn, as well as higher commission payouts.

The various memberships are:

  • Standard – free
  • Monthly Silver – $5.00/mo
  • Monthly Gold – $10.00/mo
  • Monthly Gold Plus – $30.00/mo
  • Yearly Silver – $50.00/yr
  • Yearly Gold – $100.00/yr
  • Yearly Gold Plus – $300.00/yr
  • Diamond – $700.00/yr

One additional benefit for premium members is earning when your referrals upgrade to a paid membership.

Monthly Gold Plus, Yearly Silver, Yearly Gold, and Yearly Gold Plus earn $0.50. Diamond members earn $1.00.

Also, Monthly Silver and higher levels pay 100% of your referral's click value, vs. just 40% for free members.

The higher your membership, the higher your limits are on rented referrals. For example, Standard and Silver members can have a maximum of 200 rented referrals.

Gold members and up are allowed more…

  • Monthly Gold – max 500
  • Yearly Gold – max 2000
  • Yearly Gold Plus – max 4000
  • Diamond – max 8000

Another benefit enjoyed by premium members (Monthly Gold or higher) is a 5-day withdrawal vs. a 7-day withdrawal for the lower membership levels.

Regardless of your membership level, the percentages and payouts are still relatively low for the amount of time and effort required to earn them.

Scarlet Clicks Payment Methods (and Fees)

There are several ways Scarlet Clicks will pay you:

  • Payeer (not to be confused with Payoneer) – 8% fee
  • Bitcoin – $3 fee plus 0.5%
  • Neteller – $0.5 fee plus 3%
  • Skrill – $0.60 fee plus 3%
  • AirTM – 8% fee
  • LiteCoin – $1.50 fee
  • Dash – $1 fee plus 1%
  • FaucetPay – 1% fee

Absent from the list above are two more popular payment processors, PayPal and Payoneer. And I must admit, I usually avoid programs that don't offer payments from either of these.

PayPal and Payoneer typically have a lower tolerance for scams and fraudulent activity. Therefore, in some cases (not all), PTC sites and other programs that avoid using them are doing it because something shady is going on. Or because they were kicked off those platforms.

That doesn't mean Scarlet Clicks is shady. It's just that my personal preference is to use programs that are approved by either PayPal or Payoneer

Scarlet Click payments are processed 7 business days after your payout request, and the minimum payout threshold is $2.00.

However, if you calculate the fees above, it might not make sense to cash out when you reach two bucks. For example, checking out with Bitcoin comes with a $3.00 fee plus another half percent.

How Much Can You Earn from Scarlet Clicks?

If you're just watching ads, you're going to be earning roughly $0.24/per hour (call it a whole twenty-five cents). And because you only have so many hours in a day, that's a problem.

Your best way to earn money is through referrals, but there's a cost to that as well. Generating enough traffic to acquire the number of referrals you need (for a significant income) is not easy.

As mentioned earlier, the current top affiliate on Scarlet Clicks leaderboard shows 112,612 visits (people they sent to Scarlet Clicks), which resulted in 120 signups and $45.04 in revenue.

Not only is the conversion rate low, but the payout per conversion is also low. According to those numbers, the average payout per referral is $0.36/week. At that rate, you need a lot of referrals to earn a significant income.

The conversion rate is an even tougher challenge. With 120 signups out of 112,612 visits, you're dealing with a conversion rate that's roughly one-tenth of a percent. However, if you can scale your efforts to millions of visits per week, earning a decent amount of money on Scarlet Clicks is possible.

However, the dilemma you'll be faced with is whether Scarlet Clicks is the best offer for that traffic. You may find that survey sites like surveyjunkie.com and inboxdollars.com, for example, convert better and pay higher referral commissions, depending on where you live.

They can also be a stepping stone to something more serious like an online business, where that kind of traffic (millions of visits) can generate hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not millions over time.

You may be at home because of difficulties with your health for example, or young ones to look after.

If that’s the case and a full-time income online is what you want, knowing how and where to get started is what you need in order to get what you want.

Now, I'm going to give you a free step by step beginner's guide to making money online and you can get it by Clicking Here

Scarlet Clicks Reviews and Complaints

The Scarlet Clicks reviews are mixed. Of course, no matter what PTC site or make-money program you're looking at, you're going to get negative reviews. In my opinion, though, the Scarlet Clicks reviews lean a little too heavy towards the negative.

On Trustpilot, they currently have 2.9 stars out of 5. However, considering that at least one star is mandatory for each review and that many of those reviewers would have liked to give zero, the actual rating is likely closer to 1.9/5 or 2/5.

At the moment, 54% of the Scarlet Clicks reviews are one star.

The common complaint from members is getting their account suspended as they approached payment.

To be fair, at FoxyRating, which I'm less familiar with, they average 4 out of 5 stars. There are also a lot of payment proof screenshots, and members seem to be happy with them.

As stated earlier, Scarlet Clicks has been around a long time, and relative to the number of years they've been in business, there are few complaints.

What I Like About Scarlet Clicks

  • Have been around since 2009, and they are well established.
  • Low payout threshold ($2.00).
  • Transparent about their payouts and membership costs.
  • Scarlet Clicks does not pretend to be something they are not (no ridiculous claims or promises).
  • No limit on direct referrals (non-rented referrals).
  • Low barrier to entry (no special skills or education required) and free to join.

What I Don't Like

  • Low payouts and low-income potential.
  • Payment methods do not include PayPal or Payoneer.
  • Payment processor fees are high relative to earnings.
  • Dated website and poor user experience (for example, pop-up ads that can't be closed).

Where Do You Go From Here

You want to make money online, and with Scarlet Clicks, you can. Unfortunately, it's not a lot of money, so I can't say that Scarlet Clicks is the best way to do it.

I have nothing against Scarlet Clicks, and I don't want to discourage you from joining. Some people are clearly earning money with them.

It's also a very easy way to earn money.

Whether Scarlet Clicks is right for you will depend on how much time you have and your financial needs.

You might be a student in school or a single parent at home. You may have health challenges that make regular work difficult, or maybe you just hate your job and you’re desperate for a way out.

If that's the case, an online business is what you want.

With all the scams and schemes out there though, knowing how and where to get started the right way is what you need in order to get what you want.

Now, I'm going to give you a free step by step beginner's guide to making money online and you can get it by Clicking Here

But if you're just looking for a simple way to make some extra spending money, Scarlet Clicks and others, like online survey and get-paid-to sites are good way to get started.

Sites like Survey Junkie will pay you for your opinion and Inbox Dollars offers rewards for doing things like watching videos, visiting websites and searching the web.

I hope my Scarlet Clicks review has been helpful. Please share in the comments section below if you have any comments, questions, or experience with Scarlet Clicks.

  1. The Greek sold the company 🙂 to a new owner due to alleged bankruptcy and from August, the successor stopped paying out the earned money, blocking payments to all members with higher statuses, and occasionally pays symbolic amounts to standard members, pretending to be reliable :-). He froze the possibility of earning money by reducing the number of advertisements and their rates. .As a gold member, having borrowed 800 referrals, I had to reduce their number to 600 and still lost the opportunity to earn money. I started writing posts on the forum to explain this situation and I was banned by this criminal, having 600 referrals and having an account valid until April 2024. Many people was treated in the same way, I warn all new members not to waste their time and money with this criminal. I’m warning everyone because this pest’s purpose is to extract as much money as possible without your own contribution to this business, which will soon be closed.
